Job Summary:

CURE Mission: We aim to fight poverty and restore dignity through messages of faith, freedom, and personal responsibility. We work daily and diligently to promote a Biblical world view in national public policy on matters of culture, race, and poverty.

 

Objectives/Responsibilities: The ideal Executive Assistant is logical, persistent, and naturally attentive to detail. This role reports directly to the President and Chief Operating Officer assisting in administering office operations and facilitating projects for the executive team. The Executive Assistant is responsible for keeping staff and projects on the desired timelines, reception support, and office maintenance. Duties may include and not limited to:

·      Facilitate incoming mail, messages, and data ensuring a timely response.

·      Coordinate with staff on all matters that require team participation including management of CURE publication deadlines and calendars.

·      Conduct data entry, database management and processing of executive correspondence.

·      Work on various items as needed that facilitate the day-to-day operations of CURE including but not limited to managing supplies, maintaining common areas, and organizing office events.

·      Uphold a strict level of confidentiality, maintaining a high level of professionalism.

·      Perform general office secretarial duties as well as other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

·      Interest in the advancement of America’s most destressed zip-codes.

·      1+ (2+ preferred) years of experience.

·      Strong skills with Microsoft programs and familiarity with database management software.

·      Ability to think strategically, juggle multiple priorities, adjust to changing circumstances, resolve problems creatively and logically and organize time efficiently.

·      Strong interpersonal skills, and a friendly, professional, and supportive demeanor.

·      Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Schedule:

·      Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

·      Limited travel may be required.

·      In-Office, this is not a remote nor hybrid position.

Salary, Benefits, and Compensation:

·      A competitive salary commensurate with experience will be offered. CURE offers a health share package and a comfortable work environment in downtown Washington, D.C. convenient to a metro stop. If you are not crazy, no worries we will train you.
