Program Manager – Jay Henges Center for Youth Leadership
The Jay Henges Center for Youth Leadership powers the Leadership Institute’s premier training programs—including the flagship Youth Leadership School (YLS), Youth Leadership Workshops (YLW), and Campus Election Workshops (CEW). These programs equip young conservative leaders with the skills, strategy, and confidence to win.
We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Program Manager for the Youth Leadership School who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by impact, challenge, and results. In this role, you will be at the center of a national network of young conservatives—recruiting high-caliber students, executing top-tier programs, and ensuring every event runs with excellence.
Your job:
Recruit outstanding students from across the country to participate in LI’s premier leadership trainings.
Manage all logistical elements including travel coordination, vendor negotiation, onsite operations, and speaker communication.
Prepare materials, support event execution, and present training sessions on political technology and campaign tactics.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with aligned organizations to expand program reach and impact.
Travel up to 25% to lead, staff, and support programs nationwide.
Top candidates will have:
Demonstrated experience in recruitment, public speaking, and long-term relationship building.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex, fast-moving projects.
Strong problem-solving abilities and composure under pressure.
Confidence navigating new cities and making informed, decisive calls on the go.
A willingness to work nontraditional hours—including select weekends—to deliver high-impact programs.
Bonus Qualifications
Foundational experience planning or supporting events.
Prior campaign work or campus groups.
A passion for fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
A strong grounding in conservative principles.
Location: Arlington, VA (Not Remote) Travel: Up to 40%
