The Jay Henges Center for Youth Leadership is the driving force behind the Leadership Institute’s flagship training—the Youth Leadership School (YLS)—plus high-impact programs like Youth Leadership Workshops (YLW) and Campus Election Workshops (CEW).
We’re looking for a motivated, fast-moving Training Manager who thrives on action, challenge, and making an impact. This is your chance to be at the center of a nationwide network of young conservative leaders—recruiting the best, running world-class programs, and ensuring every detail runs flawlessly.
In this role, you will:
Recruit top-tier students from across the country to attend our premier trainings
Manage logistics for workshops—everything from travel to vendor negotiations to speaker coordination
Prepare materials, run events, and even present lectures on cutting-edge political technology
Build lasting partnerships with organizations that share our mission
Travel to exciting destinations (up to 40% of the time) to lead and support impactful programs
What it takes to succeed:
Experience recruiting, speaking publicly, and building relationships that last
Proven organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple moving parts with precision
A knack for solving problems under pressure—calmly and professionally
Prior involvement with student organizations and campaigns
Bachelor’s degree + graduate of the Youth Leadership School
Ability to navigate new cities like a pro and make quick, confident decisions
Willingness to work the hours needed—including some weekends—to achieve big wins
Bonus points if you:
Have a basic understanding of planning events
Previous work on a campaign
Love the adrenaline of a fast-paced environment
Bring a strong understanding of conservative principles to everything you do
