Blackwell, Leadership Institute (LI) -- a non-partisan 501(C)3 nonprofit -- provides training in campaigns, fundraising, grassroots organizing, youth politics, and communications. The Institute teaches conservatives of all ages how to succeed in politics, government, and the media. Since its founding, LI has trained more than 300,000 conservative activists, leaders, and students.
About the Opening
LI seeks a friendly, detail-oriented, and organized individual with the highest levels of personal integrity to serve as Finance Coordinator. This person will provide support for Finance and HR-related issues.
Job Responsibilities
Process check donations and cash gifts
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Coordinate benefits enrollment for eligible employees
Monitor payroll data to maintain compliance with state and local regulations
Facilitate onboarding and offboarding process for new and departing employees
Assist HR & Finance Manager with payroll tax registrations
Providing administrative support for HR-related tasks, such as maintaining employee records and preparing documentation
Provide support to HR & Finance Manager for various administrative tasks
Required Skills
High degree of integrity and professionalism
Detail-oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong commitment to the mission of the Leadership Institute
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
1+ years experience in office administration, human resources, and/or accounts payable and accounts receivable
